Clarence S. Snyder passed away Tuesday morning at Austintwoods Nursing Home. Clarence was born June 25, 1928, in Youngstown a son of the late H. Stanley and Mae (Timmons) Snyder. He was an Electric Welder for Highway Heat Systems and a United States Army Veteran of WWII. Clarence enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a former member of the Saxon Club. Clarence will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years the former Shirley Buchwalter, whom he married June 30, 1956; one brother: William R. Snyder of Chandler, AZ; six nieces; five nephew; and seven-teen great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by an infant daughter Kathy Snyder. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Parkinson's Foundation at http://www.parkinson.org or the American Cancer Society at http://www.cancer.org in Clarence's name. Honoring Clarence's wishes there are no services or calling hours. Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
