Colleen B. Dale

Cortland- Colleen Dale, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her residence. Colleen was born April 28, 1938 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Stanley and Justine (Smith) Byham. She was a graduate of Meadville High School. Colleen attended the Cortland United Methodist Church, she was a member of Common Bond, and the Republican Womens Committee. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother. Besides her parents, Colleen is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Donald David Dale, he died October 1, 2001; and her brother Edward S. Byham. She is survived by her son Kevin Dale, her daughter Dawn (Robert) Franklin, four grandchildren, Alexandra Franklin, Rachel Dale, Kevin Patrick Dale, and Amy Andrew; her sister Sandra Byham. Friends may call 10AM-12 Noon Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St. in Cortland. The funeral service will begin at Noon with Pastor Dave Vensel officiant. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cortland United Methodist Church.
