Corabell Samu

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Mineral Ridge for Corabell Samu of 952 Vienna Ave., Niles who died Thursday morning at her daughter’s residence. Corabell was born March 13, 1921 in Niles, OH. A daughter of Cleason and Cora (Altman) Hilty. She retired 1981 from General Electric in Niles where she worked as an inspector for 35 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mineral Ridge where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She also attended the Shilow Church, Niles where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the church. She is survived by her her daughter Joy Hott of with whom she made her home with; a sister Mary Ferro of Niles; 4 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death Dec. 18, 1971 by her husband Joseph J. Samu whom she married Sept. 19, 1969; 2 sisters Joy Pelton and Flora Britton; and a brother Kenneth Hilty Friends may call 4-8 PM Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel.
