Elberton, GA- Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Cynthia D. Walsh, age 47 of 1621 Dickerson St. in Elberton, Ga who died Thursday (May 12) at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. during surgery. Cindy was born June 15, 1957 in Youngstown and was the daughter of James Sr. and Beverly Ann (Shaffer) Bond. She had been a waitress at the Huddle House in Elberton, GA. Cindy is survived by her husband Joe Walsh Sr. She also leaves two step children, a sister Michelle Walp of Youngstown, three brothers James and David Bond of Elberton, GA, Jeff Bond of Youngstown, four grandchildren and 19 nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.
