Cynthia Diana Mort

Cynthia D. Mort, 82, formally of Kinsman, died July 27, 2015 at 2:12 a.m. at Cortland Health Care Center, with her family surround by her side. Cynthia was born May 30, 1933 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Carl and Lilly Mae Casterline Saltzman. She was a 1951 graduate of Gustavus High School located in Farmdale, OH. Cynthia was a homemaker, and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, making baby doll clothes, camping, bingo, dancing, and spending time at Walnut Beach in Lake Erie. She is survived by her children; Rocke (Marie) Mort, of Vernon, Barry (Cathy) Mort, of Warren, Lynda Loyd, of Brookfield, Sandy Fox, of Green Township, Dina Mort, of Warren, David Augusta, of Mecca, and Zetta Wasser, of Claremont, North Carolina, 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, her siblings; Terry (Judy) Saltzman, and Martha Grove, both of Cortland, OH. Besides her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by her son, Gary Mort. Her siblings; John, Jim, Richard and Buster Saltzman, Eva Bussinger, Neoma Wilbert, and Wynitia Armstrong. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
