Dale W. Lytle, 79 of Mineral Ridge died Monday morning, August 26, 2024 at his residence. Dale was born May 27, 1945 in Confluence, PA and came to this area in 1971.
He graduated from Rockwood High School in PA and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Dale worked as an assembler for General Motors, Lordstown Plant for 41 years, before retiring in 2011.
He was a member of the Mineral Ridge VFW. Dale was a hard worker and was always fixing or building something, especially working on cars. Most important to Dale was his family and looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his wife, the former Earlene George, whom he married October 9, 1970; two daughters, Jamie Lytle-Holcomb of Wendell, NC; Jade Lytle of Mineral Ridge and four grandchildren, Hayden, Gavin, Maeleigh and Wyatt. He also leaves four sisters, Fern Enos of Maryland, Loretta Mitchell and Carolyn Pletcher, both of PA and Linda Plume of Niles. Besides his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Lytle.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 29th at Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friends may also call on Saturday, August 31st from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Humbert Funeral Home, 704 Logan Place, Confluence, PA, followed by a graveside service at Addison Cemetery.
