Dalene F. Mallog

Dalene F. "Day-Day" Mallog, age 41, of Austintown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 22, 2017. Born January 8, 1976 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Dale and Patricia (Thompson) McClain. Dalene was a member of the Emmanuel Community Church; her faith was important to her and she lived it out through missions trips and in service to others. She was active in the Youngstown Women's Connection; she was also an active mental health advocate. She had a keen sense and appreciation for little details, she loved nature and taking walks, and she loved and served her family well. Survivors include her husband William A. Mallog, Sr.; children: Amber Wynn, Karlene, William, Jr., and Addie Mallog; father Dale McClain; brothers and sisters: Glenn and Darrell Snyder, Maureen Visneski, Charlene Bendeck, and Colleene Kershner; as well as many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister Sherri Nipper. Friends will be received at the Emmanuel Community Church, 6512 Kirk Rd., Canfield, 44406 on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10-11:30AM where services will be held at 11:30AM with Pastor John Hutchinson officiating. Memorials may be made directly to the family to help defray final expenses.
