Daniel R. Miller

Champion Daniel R. Miller, 50, passed away Friday evening, June 30, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. Daniel was born on August 8, 1966 in Akron, OH, a son of Russell Miller and Mary Jane (Best) Rankin. He was a 1984 graduate of Badger High School. Shortly after high school, he married his teenage sweet heart Debbie (Scott) Miller on October 26, 1986 and started their family together with four daughters. Daniel was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing, and loved to help anyone he can. Most of all he loved spending his time with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Mary Jane (Ray) Rankin and Russell (Nancy) Miller; his wife Debbie Miller; his four daughters, Danielle Miller, DeLisa Miller, Deana Miller, and Devonna (Randy) Kuhn; three grandchildren, Micah, Rhylei, and Gracelynn; his sister Amy Brown; his brothers Daryl Miller and Doug (Christi) Miller; several nieces and nephews; and two step sisters. Friends and family may visit from 5-8:00PM on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer Winans Chapel in Cortland, OH.
