David A. Dankovich, 30 There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for David A. Dankovich, 30 of Canfield who died Sunday at Northside Medical Center. David was born August 14, 1987 in Youngstown, a son of Alexander R. and Diane M. (Gentzy) Dankovich and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Canfield High in 2006 where he was in the band and received his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University. David was a therapeutic support staff counselor for Associates in Child Guidance in Sharon and had also been a caregiver for the elderly. He was a drummer for Zero.Set.Memory and various other bands in the area and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. Besides his parents of Canfield, David leaves his sister, Dr. Laura S. Dankovich of Columbus ; his brother, Atty. John A. (Katie) Dankovich of Sunbury; two nieces Grace and Violet; aunts and uncles, Susan (David) Porter, Steven (Linda) Gentzy, Suzanne (Paul) Pillitteri and Karl Torma. He also leaves six cousins. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, including his grandmother, Helen Dankovich, whom he was very close to and his great uncle and aunt whom he called Grandpa Tom (Grandma Jay) Ioffredo. David was also preceded in death by his aunt Loretta Torma. Friends may call on Friday at 5:30 until the time of the service at 7:30 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home.
