Streetsboro - David Alan Fluharty, 58, passed away Tuesday morning, January 15, 2019 at University Hospital Medical Center in Ravenna. Dave was born on February 27, 1960 in Warren, OH, son of Cecil and Betty (Cecconi) Fluharty. He was a 1978 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and continued his education at ITT Technical Institute in Cleveland. He was a supervisor of IT operations at Joann Stores. He was a Cleveland Browns fan, loved riding his Harley, and would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Dave will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Christina (Moffit-Smith) Fluharty, whom he married on June 19, 2009; his mother, Betty (Cecconi) Fluharty; his daughters, Kristina (Scott) Schippert and Karen (Frank) Ellis; his son, Martise McWilson; granddaughters, Rylee, Teagan, Cecilia, and Olivia; brother Daniel (Christine) Fluharty; nephews Andrew and Ryan; and niece, Danielle. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Fluharty and his grandparents. Family and friends may visit from 5-7:00PM on Friday January 18, 2019 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren, with funeral services following at 7:00PM.
