David John Louk

David John Louk, 67, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at St. Joseph hospital in Warren, Ohio. Dave was born on January 9, 1957, in Ravenna Ohio to Helen Louk and the late Russell Louk.

Dave is survived by his mother, Helen Louk; his sister, Peggy Freeborn; his son, David (Carly) Louk; his daughter, Jennifer (John) Destefano; his grandchildren, Tyler Louk, Kendall Louk, Brayden Louk,  SaBrina Louk, MonTayah Qualls, Montell Qualls III, and Maximus Qualls; his great grandson, Avery Howard; his niece, Adrienne (John) Deraway; great nephews, Nathan and Benjamin Deraway; and great niece, Emma Freeborn.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Russell Louk, and his niece, Amanda Freeborn.

Dave was a hardworking, retired member of the Laborers Union, Local #860. He spent most of his life in Medina, Ohio, but resided in Warren, Ohio for the last 7 years. Dave enjoyed his retirement by driving around in his red Corvette, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, cooking delicious meals, and tinkering with anything he thought he could fix. Dave had a very tough exterior but had a heart of gold on the inside. He would always go out of his way, doing anything he could, to help those around him.

Upon his request, Dave will be cremated. No calling or service at this time.
