David "Marty" Uber

David "Marty" Uber, 79 passed away December 29, 2017 at Nugents Convalescent Home. Marty was born on January 26, 1938 in Brookfield to John & Erma (Cole) Uber. Marty & his wife Kitty owned MarKit Construction. Marty also spent 28 years as a tank car repairman at GATX until their closing. Martys passion was golfing. His love of the sport is what led to his final business endeavor MarKit Golf Driving Range. A memorial service for Marty will be held on January 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel. Marty is survived by his wife Catherine "Kitty" Uber, his children Laurie (Clay) Richtor, Ronald (Paula) Uber, Pam (Chuck) Kish, Chere Cunningham and Perry Passeri; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and his brother Ernest (Gail) Uber. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Kyle Uber and sister Doris Pacsi. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association.
