Debbie Jane Butcher, 72, of Youngstown, passed away on Friday, January 3rd, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born on August 7, 1953 in Warren, a daughter of William and Roberta (Donahey) Hammond.
Debbie graduated from Newton Falls High School. On October 10, 1987 she married Thomas E. Butcher. Debbie enjoyed her time as a homemaker taking care of the ones she loved.
She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her two sons; David E. Karash, of Canfield and Steven (Dawnyel) Karash, of Salem. She also leaves behind a brother, William Hammond, of Diamond, OH; four grandsons; Dillan, Garrett, and Evan Monroe, and Nevets Karash; three granddaughters; Hailey Monroe, Hope Karash, and Emily Costello Butcher; a great-granddaughter, Summer Nicholson-Monroe; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, Roberta Prozie, and a step-son, Michael E. Butcher.
A time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM - Noon on Friday, January 10th, at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.
