Delma Patricia Grimes

Delma “Pat” Grimes, 86, of Austintown, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Western Reserve on January 11th, 2025. She was born in Delmont, WV to the late Leo Lang and Valerie (Linville) Lang on March 17th, 1938.

Pat was a graduate of Victory High School and went on to work at A&P Bakery and then Plastipak Packaging in Medina, Ohio before retiring. She was a member of the Eastern Star as well as The Amaranth in Girard, Ohio. She had many interests such as watching her soap operas, playing computer games, crocheting and knitting, making friendship cakes, and getting her hair done. Of all the things she loved, it was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored the most.

Pat married the love of her life, Stanley E. Grimes, on June 22nd, 1957, with whom she would spend 66 years with until his passing on March 24, 2024. They raised 3 children and created a life of memories and love.

Pat is survived by her children; David (Molly) Grimes, Deborah Grimes, and Timothy (Dawn Bennett) Grimes, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister; Cora Emma Lang.

Family and friends may attend her service on Thursday January, 16th at 1:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Homes- Austintown location.
