Delores M. Mckee

Delores M. McKee, age 79, of Austintown, passed away with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Boardman. Born March 11, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio; she was the daughter of George S. and Dorothy (Gallaugher) Davis. Delores was a homemaker. She enjoyed participating in car shows with her "1986 Monte Carlo" and riding with her husband on their Harley Davidson. She spent many years with her husband bowling Wednesday nights with the Senior Bowling League. She was an Elvis enthusiast. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved spending holidays with them and attending their sporting events. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James Robert McKee Sr., whom she married on September 8, 1956; her children James (Hilda) McKee Jr., Diana (Johnny) Lear, Mary Abbas, and Michele (Michael) Mercer; her grandchildren Dale McKee Jr., Katrina (Eric) Cooper, Haley and Makenzie Abbas, Gabriel McKee, Brittany (Garrett) Horvath, Mason, Austin and Courtney Mercer; her great-grandchildren Paisley McKee, Charleston and Chandler Horvath; her brothers George (Judy) Davis and Larry Davis; and her beloved dogs Shiloh and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Dale McKee Sr., her granddaughter Angel Abbas, and her brothers Robert Davis and Owen Davis. Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Sunday from 5:00-7:00PM and Monday from 12:00-1:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 27th, at 1:00PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nursing staff in ICU and the 5th floor at St. Elizabeths in Boardman for the loving care of Delores. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Delores name.
