Denise M Ryan

CANFIELD- Denise M. Ryan, 56, passed away after an extended illness on February 17, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. She was born on December, 20, 1960 in Barberton, OH to Ilene Sedgwick and the late William Hartwick. Denise was a 1979 graduate from Canfield High School and went on to work at First Federal Bank. Later in life, Denise was able to pursue her true passion, taking care of the disabled and elderly. Denise was a member of Greenfield Christian Church. Left to cherish Denise's memory is her mother, Ilene Sedgwick; her step-father, Glenn Sedgwick; her brothers, Michael Hartwick, and Kevin Sedgwick; her sister, Karen (Tim) Pieczynski; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Denise is preceded in death by her father, William Hartwick, and her grandparents. Family will receive friends from 10AM-12noon on Saturday, February 25 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, 65 N. Broad St. A memorial service will follow calling hours on Saturday at 12noon. Inurnment will take place at a late date and Denise will be buried alongside her close and dear grandmother, Audra Robinson in Canal Fulton, OH. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Denise's cousin, Louis Hatfield and a family friend, Barbara Fisher for being by Denise's side during this difficult time.
