Dennis Leslie Wareham

Niles - Dennis Wareham, 75, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 25, 2018 at his home. Dennis was born on July 20, 1943 in Warren, OH; a son of the late Alonza and Mildred (Johnson) Wareham. Dennis was a 1962 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. After high school, he enlisted with the United States Navy and earned the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal until he was honorably discharged in 1968. Shortly after his discharge, he married the love of his life, Betty Wareham, on October 11, 1969. He enjoyed going to Bible studies, playing cards, sailing, bike riding, and watching basketball; especially the Duke Blue Devils. Dennis will be deeply missed by his children, Julie (Brett) Householder, Dennis (Melanie Petak) Wareham, and Gary (Courtney) Wareham; his grandchildren, Kalifornia, Colorado, Nevada, and Michigan Wareham; and his two cousins John and Jennifer Dickey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty, who he looked forward to being reunited with again in heaven since her passing on June 9, 2006; and his grandson, Brandon Wareham. Family may visit from 5-7:00PM on Sunday September 30, 2018 and Monday October 1, 2018 from 10-11:00AM with funeral services to follow at 11:00AMat Lane Family Funeral Homes Niles Chapel at 415 Robbins Ave. in Niles. A private burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna Township.
