Dexter Lynn Russell

Dexter Lynn Russell, 67, of Warren, Ohio passed away at his residence on December 7th, 2024. He was born on March 1st, 1957 in Sulphur, Louisiana to the late Milton Russell and Margie Juanita (Kelly) Russell.

Dexter was a painter his whole life, painting everything from water towers to offshore oil rigs and was known for his sense of humor. He held many interests; From fishing in the gulf to trolling on lake Erie, and hunting in the swamps to chasing white tail in the snowy woods of Ohio, along with gardening, country music, spoiling his grandchildren with snacks, and food from home (Louisiana) especially Jambalaya.

Dexter leaves behind to carry on his memory, his children, Billy Richard, Bre (Shane) Boudreaux, Brandy (Scott Comeaux) Russell, Brandon Russell, Brittany (Spencer) Pugsley, and Chad (Allie Bova) Russell. His siblings, Connie Russell, Dennie Russell and Preston Russell, as well as 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Dexter was preceded in death by his parents, a sibling (Dwight Russell), and a grandchild (Cody Boudreaux).

Family and friends may attend a Memorial Service which is to be held on Friday December 13th, 2024 at Galilee Apostolic Church (3939 Potomac Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515), Service to begin at 5pm with a dinner to follow.
