Diana L. Shields

Funeral services celebrating the life of Diana L. Shields, 71, of North Jackson, will be held at 4 PM Saturday, May 26, at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Diana passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Mercy Health Boardman Campus surrounded by her family. She was born July 26, 1946 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Francis and Isabel (Cramb) Protain. Diana was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School, class of 1964 and worked in Shipping and Receiving at Tamco Distributers until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed gardening and traveling to the beach and Disney with her family. Diana leaves three children, Tracy (Greg) Wise of Canfield, Tami Shields and Bob Shields both of North Jackson, four grandchildren, Matthew (Megan) Shields, Tori (Dom) and Taylor Wise, and Cole Shields, two sisters Cathy (Bill) Garland of Mineral Ridge, and Melissa (Bob) Ellis of Boardman, as well as three nieces, Katie (Chad) Morris, Sarah (Nick) Serb, and Lauryn Ellis, and one great niece, Finley Morris. Diana was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 2 to 4 PM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where services will begin at 4 PM.
