Diane Lillian Patton

October 5, 1941 — June 7, 2010

Diane Lillian Patton, a sister, mother and guardian angel to everyone whose lives she touched, went to be with the angels in heaven Monday June 7, 2010. Diane was born October 5, 1941 in Youngstown the daughter of James Robert and Marion Amelia (Mitchell) Patton. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of the first graduating class at Cardinal Mooney High School in 1959. Diane worked as a dispatcher for the Austintown Police Department and retired in 1997 after 33 years of service. She was of the Catholic faith, Diane was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards. She leaves two brothers; Samuel Patton and his wife Billie Jane of Austintown, and James Patton of Cleveland, two nieces; her God child Virginia Brembeck and her husband Michael, and Christine Cerimele and her husband James, as well as two great nephews; Samuel and Seth and a great niece; Leah. Besides her parents, Diane is preceded in death by a sister Bonnie Mae Patton. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
