Donald A. Williamson

Funeral services will be held 11 Am Friday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Donald A. Williamson of 3871 Kelly St., Mineral Ridge who died Monday evening at North Side Hospital. Donald was born Dec. 23, 1924 in Spring Church, PA. He was the son of Alex and Virginia (McDeavitt) Williamson. He retired in 1987 from R.M.I., after 41 years, where he was an electrician. He was a member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ, American Legion Post #106 in Niles, served in U.S. Army and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife the Mary Williamson whom he married July 29, 1942; three children Georgia Carol Dunnigan of Niles, Donald A. Williamson, Jr. , and Virginia Fay Curtis; three sisters Agnes Schlekat pf Pittsburgh, PA, Ruth Ruppert of Ford City, PA, and Betty Grinder of Vandergrift, PA; two brothers Robert of West Virginia and Telford Williamson of Vandergrift, PA; 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers Telford and Richard E. Williamson Friends may call 4-7 PM Thursday and 1 hour prior to Javitt Ct. in Austintown, OH services on Friday at the funeral home.
