Donald M. Daskivich

Warren – Donald M. Daskivich, 86, died Saturday morning July 6, 2024 at Community Skilled Healthcare. 

Don was born on September 28, 1937 to Margaret and Michael Daskivich in Indiana, PA. 

Following high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and served for four years. After his honorable discharge he relocated to Warren, where worked 40 years at Copperweld Steel. 

Don enjoyed old cars, traveling, working on various home projects, porch parties including a glass of good bourbon and a fine cigar. 

Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cindy (Callahan) Daskivich; three sons, Scott (Chris) of Warren, Matthew (Joanna) of Columbus, and Adam of Dallas, Tx; one daughter, Dana of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Kaiden, Lilly, Zack, and Sean; and two great-grandchildren. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael and grandson Jason. 

In keeping with Don’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Following cremation, he will be laid to rest in Western Reserve National Cemetery.
