Donald E. Borkosky

WARREN- Donald Edwin Borkosky, age 86, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Donald, known to most as "Don", son of Stanley and Amelia Borkosky was born July 4, 1932 in Holidays Cove, West Virginia.
Don graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1950. He met his wife Sylvia Reed in junior high school. They married in 1951 and were together 67 years.
Don served the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955 during the Korean War. He attended college in Kirksville, Missouri and at Youngstown State University. Don worked for Copperweld Steel for 44 years retiring in 1994 from the chemical laboratory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Jeannette (Fred) Johnson.
Cherished memories of Don will be carried on by his wife, Sylvia, brother Dr. William (Martha) Borkosky; daughter, Victoria (Dennis) Courtheyn, son, Donald (Denise) Borkosky, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Don's wishes no formal services were held and cremation has taken place.
