Funeral services celebrating the life of Donald E. Foster, 58, will be held at 5 PM Thursday, April 11, at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Donald, who was also known as "Duck" passed away Monday April 8, 2019 at his home. Don was born September 3, 1960 in Youngstown, the son of Charles and Carol (Wilson) Foster. He retired in 2015 as the manager of an industrial cleaning company. Don enjoyed designing and putting together fish aquariums. His hobbies also included 4 wheeling, hunting and target shooting. Most of all Don loved spending time with his family and friends. Besides his mother of Austintown, Donald leaves his wife, the former Christine Rednock, whom he married December 15, 1984. Three daughters Tara (Dan) Eippert of Austintown, Kylie Foster of Wilmington, NC, and Courtney (Rick) Cruz of Canfield, who was lovingly raised by Ward and Peg Roth and four grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, Jasen, and Tegan. Don also leaves five siblings, Debra (George) Mackey of Austintown, Charles (Robin) Foster of Florida, Ken Foster of Austintown, Barb (Paul) Sitler of North Jackson, and Janice (Steve) Pop of Cortland as well as several nieces and nephews whom Don cherished. Donald was preceded in death by his father Charles. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where services will begin at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Humility House in Donalds name. The family would like extend a special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff who helped care for him the past 17 years, we also thank his best friend, Bob Moynihan, the staff of Humility House and Hospice of the Valley for their care over the past few years.
