Donald George Fritsch

Donald George Fritsch, 79 of Warren, died Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018, at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. He was born September 10, 1939 in Warren, the son of the late George Godfrey and Virginia Loretta Herttua Fritsch. Don retired after working over 30 years as a crane operator at Copperweld Steel Corp. He was raised in Emmanuel Lutheran Church and continued to be of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by two daughters, Dawn R. Lightner of Howland and Dr. Pam S. Fritsch, DVM of Warren; one son, Daniel P. (Jeanette Irwin) Fritsch of Howland; one sister, Arlene V. Ciferno of Warren; four granddaughers, Amanda (Patrick) Howard, Kayla Sweitzer, Tabby (Angelo) Catrone and Tia Irwin; one grandson, Andrew Lightner and five great grandchildren, Aiden and Matthew Howard, Gracie Knight, Isabella Sweitzer and Luca Catrone. A private funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Pineview Memorial Park Chapel in Warren with Pastor David Luther officiating. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
