Donald E Parker

Donald E.Parker, 86 of Austintown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at Windsor House at Omni Manor.

Donald Parker was Born September 30,1938, in Clarion, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Ochs) Parker.

Donald graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1956. Before retirement, he worked for Packard Electric for thirty years.

Donald enjoyed spending time on his computer playing hearts, eating ice cream, the family pool and target shooting. He was also known for his excellent math skills.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Robert Parker, Betty Titus, Shirley Parker, Jack Parker, and Dorothy Ziegler.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Parker, whom he married June 11,1977.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Margaret (Michael) Poinski, Dr. Roberta Parker, Dorie (Bob) Scacchetti, Dan (Krista) Spiker, Cindy (Terry) Clark, Chris (Tiffany) Spiker; his grandchildren Dr. Sara (Chris) Dorris, Dr. Katie (Brian) Tatar, Lizzie Poinski, Conor Culhane, Nolan (Karena) Culhane, Jamie (Melissa) Scacchetti, Kenny (Amanda) Scacchetti, Justin Scacchetti, Jenna Spiker, Dan (Ashley) Spiker, Amanda (Shane) Staser, Emily (Cobe) Clark-Ampeaw, Kayla Mason, Gabriella Spiker, and Layla Spiker; and his great grandchildren Michael, Sophia, Matthew, Elijah, Ada, Charlotte, Camilla and George.

A Memorial service will be held to honor his life on Friday, January 24th, at 2:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. The family will receive relative and friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to services.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to, Special Olympics, Mahoning County Hospice of the Valley, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and they would also like to thank Hospice of the Valley and Windsor House at Omni Manor for the care and compassion that they provided.
