Donald Thomas McCarty-87 Youngstown—Services will be held 11 am Saturday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Donald Thomas McCarty, 87, of Youngstown who passed away Wednesday morning at his home. Donald was born August 14, 1917 in Weston, West Virginia the son of Bert and Lena (Sinnett) McCarty. He retired in 1982 as a foreman from Steel Door where he worked for 42 years. Donald was an Army Veteran, a former member of the Argus Lodge #545 and the Foramens Club. His wife the former Marie Hardman whom he married December 26, 1939 passed away January 20, 1994. Donald leaves two daughters Sue Ann Lockard and Linda Smith both of Youngstown, four grand children and seven great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister Betty Hagi of Clarksburg W.V., and a brother William of Charleston W.V. Besides his wife, Donald is preceded in death by a sister Virginia Williams and a Brother Eugene. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 pm tonight and from 10 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
