Bazetta Township- Donald Wayne Wilson, age 65, died suddenly Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Donald was born January 18, 1952 in Warren to the late James O. and Luella Mae (Wortman) Wilson. He was a graduate of Maplewood High School. Don was a devout follower of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. He truly loved people and will be remembered for his huge heart. He was an absolute Truth Seeker. Don enjoyed nature to its fullist, he loved to cut firewood and was a pro at stacking it as well; he was also an avid weather watcher. He worked for WCI in Warren for many years on the Blast Furnace. Besides his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother James Wilson. He is survived by his wife Judy Wilson, who he married September 24, 1994; his children Daniel Delich, Melinda (Aneese) Hamad, Dottie (Richard) Wilson-Kerens, Devona (Johnathon) Wilson-Wolf, Christopher Delich, and Caitlin (Thomas) Byle; 17 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brother Theodore (Patricia) Wilson, and sister Elizabeth (Donald) VanNess. Funeral service will be 11AM Friday, November 3, 2017 at Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St. in Cortland, where friends may call one hour prior (10-11AM) to the service.
