Donna L. Salyard

Niles - Donna L. (Foulke) Salyard, 90, passed away Sunday morning, April 7, 2019 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. Donna was born on January 28, 1929 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Lyda (Williams) Foulke. She was a 1948 graduate of South High School. Shortly after high school she married the love of her life William Salyard on October 22, 1948 and started their family. She enjoyed working on word search puzzles, taking pictures of her family and friends, going shopping, watching football and baseball; especially the Cleveland Indians, and actively made crafts for Shepherd of the Valleys annual craft show. Donna will be deeply missed by her loving children, Kenneth Salyard, Saundra (Dennis) Bumann, and Shirley (Bill) Murphy; grandchildren, Erica Murphy, Jessica (Larry) Patterson, Justin Murphy, Timothy (Michelle) Salyard, Allison (Dustin) Behrendsen, Carrie (Mike) Landon, Gregory (Jessica) Bumann, Raymond (Stacie) Salyard Jr., Julie Salyard, Brian Salyard, Tony (Jennifer) Salyard, and Shane (Jennifer) Salyard; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Salyard, who passed away on April 22, 2006; her son Raymond Salyard Sr.; four brothers; eight sisters; and one great-great grandchild. Family may visit from 1-4:00PM on Sunday April 14, 2019 at Lane Family Funeral Homes at 415 Robbins Ave. in Niles, with funeral services to follow at 4:00PM.
