Donna Lee Homrighouse

CANFIELD- Donna Lee Homrighouse, 94, died peacefully Friday evening, January 25, 2019 at the Windsor House at Canfield. Donna was born April 28, 1924 in Kearney, Nebraska to the late Ernest and Lena (Bantel) Dority. She was a graduate of Conneaut High School. Donna worked at Packard Electric as a purchasing secretary and later at Ohio Edison as a personnel secretary. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing Bridge, golfing, and mentoring for girls Junior Golf. Donna loved being with her family at home, with close friends, and with her beloved fourth Tortie, "Joy". Donna was a member of the Cortland United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her sister Lucille D. Dunbar, and her brothers Robert and Glen Dority. She will be missed by her loving husband of 71 years, Edward F. Homrighouse. They married March 29, 1947, in Warren, Ohio. Her two sons, Mark E. (Sandy) Homrighouse of Jacksonville, Florida, and Randy L. Homrighouse of Cortland; two granddaughters, Amanda (Christopher) Mann of Hudson and Marissa Eberline of Long Island, New York, and one great-grandson Camden Mann. Funeral and memorial services for Donna, per her wishes, will be private. Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donnas memory may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd. SE Vienna, OH 44493 or to the Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601 Arrangements entrusted to Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel.
