Doris "Dot" Rita Bishop

Doris "Dot" Rita Bishop, 94, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, Friday evening. She was surrounded by her family, at her residence. Doris was born December 11, 1924 in Austintown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Leeworthy) Fee. Doris was a homemaker and a member of the West Austintown First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the choir, ladies quilting group, Order of the Eastern Star. She was always helping others. She loved playing cards, especially pinochle. She never missed an opportunity to say "I love you." Doris is survived by her husband, Robert Marion Bishop, whom she married January 11, 1943; her children Joyce Bayless of Austintown, Sue (Bob) Blake of Florida, Gay (John) Blackann of Austintown; her grandchildren Tami Carbonaro, Cindy Valoura, Bobbie Cole, Brad Blake, Terry Blake, Joshua Blackann, and Jonathan Blackann and ten great- grandchildren. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:00pm at the West Austintown First United Methodist Church, 6749 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, Ohio 44515. Calling hours will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the church.
