Doris Lasher

Doris M. Lasher, age 94 of Canfield, passed away on September 29, 2020. She was born August 26, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio.
She graduated from South High School in 1944. She worked at Strouss-Hirshberg Company and General Electric early in her life.
Doris was a devoted wife and mother, who took great pride in decorating and caring for her home. She was a member of the Fact and Fiction Federated Club and the Suburban Garden Club. She loved her four dogs, Candy, Mandy, Molly and especially Betsy. For several years she participated in a weekly ceramics class, and she always loved planting and looking after her flower garden.
On September 20, 1952, Doris was united in marriage to her husband Wallace E. Lasher, who preceded her in death on December 14, 1994.
Doris is survived by her children: Michael (Patti), Robert, Richard (Dean) and Kevin (Shoko). Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother Jessie L. Martin.
A private service was held for the immediate family. A memorial service will take place at a future date.
The family requests any donations be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley.
