Doris J. "Muzz" Bailey, 81, of Berlin Center, died Thursday afternoon at Northside Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1936 in Ellsworth, a daughter of Edwin and Jessie "Nanny" Young Ewing Cramer. Muzz was a line worker at the G.M. Lordstown Assembly Plant for 27 years, retiring in 1998. She was of the Protestant Faith. Muzz was a lifetime member of the Twin State Auto Racing Club and she especially enjoyed the World of Outlaws (open wheel dirt track racing) and Nascar, where her favorite driver was Steve Kinser. Muzz loved watching the Price is Right and The Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed traveling, watching birds and attending garage sales. Muzz was also an avid sports fan, particularly the Cleveland Indians and Cavs. Muzz was always feisty and everyone loved her dearly. Everyone was always welcome in her home, where she made the best biscuits and gravy and never met a stranger. Muzz is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elden A. Bailey, whom she married June 7, 1958; her daughter, Debbie Bailey of Berlin Center; her grandchildren, Andrew (Erica) Foor, Stephanie (Bill) Nelson, Stacey Foor, Jack (Jen) Creps and Shelly (fiance, Jeff Bantam) Creps; 10 gr. grandchildren; 1 gr. gr. grandchild on the way and a grandkitty, "Chloe". Besides her parents, Muzz was preceded in death by her son, Elden Bailey, Jr.; her daughter, Nora Creps; her brother, Edwin (Bud) Ewing and her sisters, Eileen Akers and Karen (Mimi) Schuller. According to Muzz's wishes, there are no calling hours or services. Arrangements are by the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel.
