Doris L. Pechatsko

Doris L. Pechatsko, 79, of Austintown, passed away Wednesday morning, October 23rd, at the Assumption Village Nursing Center in North Lima following an extended illness.

She was born September 4, 1945 in Uniontown, PA, a daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Peters) Cable.

Doris was a 1963 graduate of Uniontown High School and worked for the former Packard Electric Corp. in Warren for more than 35 years, retiring in 2006. 

She enjoyed cooking, Bingo, taking trips to the casinos, and cheering on her grandchildren in all of their activities . Her greatest joy was her family to whom she was completely devoted. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Doris is survived by her three children; John Pechatsko, of Austintown, Theresa (Chris) Colella, of Hubbard, and Brian (Dana) Pechatsko, of Canfield. She also leaves behind seven siblings; Geraldine (John) Walters, of Austintown, Linda (Tony) Masi, of Uniontown, PA, Sharon (Mike) Korsh, of Fairchance, PA, Karen (Rich) Lee, of Uniontown, James (Helen) Cable, of Austintown, Gene Cable, of Uniontown, and Ronald (Ruth) Cable, of Brooksville, FL; and seven beloved grandchildren; John, Noah, Christopher, Alaina, Dominic, Kamryn, and Maryn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Cable, a sister, Darlene Miller, and her former husband, John L. Pechatsko, who passed away September 11, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday, October 29th, at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.

Friends may call one hour prior to services from 11:00 AM to Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest in the Green Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Canfield.
