Dorothy B. Frederick

BOYNTON BEACH, FL-There will be Services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel for Dorothy B. Frederick, 93, who passed away early Wednesday morning at her residence in Florida. Dorothy was born June 18, 1925 in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Bertha Kusky Gaglione. She was a graduate of Chaney High School and a home-maker. Dorothy loved being with her family and enjoyed traveling to family get togethers. She also enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Lake Erie, where she loved to swim. In her later years, she enjoyed and was a very active Bingo player. Her husband of 65 years, Robert L. Frederick, whom she married June 12, 1948, died Dec. 9, 2013. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Janice (Frank) Ross of Evans, GA, Kim Horn (Larry Ferguson) of San Marcos, TX, Karen (Duane) Musser of Boynton Beach, FL and Bill Frederick of Austintown; her daughter-in-law, Sue Frederick; her grandchildren, Melissa Frederick, Mollie (Michael) Lyden, Sean Frederick, Chris (Kirsten) Ross, Mike (Jade) Ross, Ryan (Anna) Horn, Cody (Kaylee) Horn, Brittany Horn, Matt (Laura) Musser, Corey (Vanessa) Musser, Ashlee Frederick and Chloee Frederick; 10 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Robert W. Frederick and her brother, Anthony Gaglione. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesday, prior to the Service.
