Dorothy G. Decker

NILES- Dorothy G. Decker, age 103, passed away Thursday morning at her residence. Dorothy was born August 6, 1914 in Niles to the late Ralph and Carrie (Bridgens) Miller. She was a Harness Assembler at Packard Electric for 30 years retiring in 1973. Besides her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Decker who she married August 25, 1934, he died July 21, 1996; her sister Agnes Von Thaer, her brother Ralph "Bill" Miller. She is survived by her nephews James Von Thaer, Jimmy Miller and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service celebrating Dorothy's life will be 6:30PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Lane Funeral Home, Niles Chapel with Reverend Don Monaco officiant. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Hospice.
