Dorothy Jean Sigle

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Dorothy Jean Sigle of W. Calla Rd. in Canfield who passed away at home on Wednesday. Mrs. Sigle was born August 13, 1933 in New Middletown the daughter of Carl J. and Odean (Parks) Felger. Dorothy was a sales associate at J.C.Penney in the Southern Park Mall and retired September 28, 2001 after 21 years of service. She was also the Secretary of Sigle’s Flowers for 22 years and the secretary of the Mahoning County Extension for 7 years. She was a member of the Old Springfield United Church of Christ in New Middletown, and a graduate of the Boardman High School in 1951. Mrs. Sigle leaves her husband George whom she married June 25, 1955. She also leaves her mother and a daughter Karen Sigle of Canfield as well as two sisters: Shirley Curry of New Springfield, and Twila Ongerth of Coco Florida. She also leaves a brother Donald Felger of Poland, as well as a grandson Evan Kostalek. Mrs. Sigle was preceded in death by her father. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Monday, April 8th.
