Dorothy M. Hofmann

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 24th at The Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Dorothy M. Hofmann of 3625 S. Turner Rd. in Canfield who passed away Monday at The Clairbridge Cottages in Austintown. Mrs. Hofmann was born January 16, 1910 in Canfield Township the daughter of Earl and Florence (Weingart) Baird. Dorothy was a Registered Nurse for the Youngstown Hospital Association and was a former member of the Canfield Christian Church She leaves a daughter Mrs. Cheri (David) Williams of Canfield, a grand-daughter Mrs. Heidi (John) Jones McKeon, and a great-grandson Van McKeon. Mrs. Hofmann also leaves two sisters: Ethel Yeager of Greenford and Lucy Clay of Salem. She was preceded in death by her Husband Vance A. Hofmann whom she married April 15, 1934 and passed away April 7, 2001. 2 brothers Delmas and Charles Baird and a sister Martha Gosser, are also deceased. Memorial tributes may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association at 3736 Boardman-Canfield Rd. Canfield, OH 44406.
