Earnest T. Lenney, Jr.

Earnest T. Lenney, Jr. passed away on August 18, 2017. Earnest was born in Warren on April 27, 1937 to Earnest & Edith (Angstrom) Lenney, Sr. He graduated from Bristol High School where he played several sports. He continued to follow the Panthers basketball team for many years. He spent his career at Republic Steele retiring after 44 years. On October 27, 1956, Earnest was united in marriage to the former Noreen Dines who survives. Earnest was a family man and loved taking his grandchildren fishing. A memorial service will be held at Sager Cemetery in Bristol on September 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Besides his wife of 60 years, Earnest is survived by his children Dennis (Tracey) Lenney, Earnest Lenney and Kim (Bryan) Slusher, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his sister Sandra Strom. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Leigh Ray Lenney.
