Edward R. Kemesky

Austintown Twp. – Edward R. Kemesky, 73, of Austintown passed way Monday evening, April 11, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Mercy Health Main Campus. Ed was born May 12, 1948 in Youngstown the son of Edward J. and Margaret (Blasko) Kemesky. He was a 1966 graduate of Chaney High School and a 1973 graduate of Youngstown State University, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. Ed worked in the Fab Plant for General Motors Lordstown retiring in 2008 as a Die Setter. He was a former member of St. Joseph Church. Ed enjoyed playing poker and blackjack. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Kathleen Lillo, whom he married August 14, 1971, three children, Jason (Tina) Kemesky, and Jill (Jason) Reardon both of Austintown, and Julie (Jermey) Puszakowski of Fairview Park, six grandchildren, Rossella, Lila, Rylee, Callie, Sebastian, and Everly, as well as one sister, Patty Vandyke of Boardman. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. Following Ed’s wishes there are no calling hours or services. Arrangements were entrusted to the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
