Warren – Eileen W. Hardin, 88, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
Eileen was born on July 5, 1936 in Artie, WV, a daughter of the late Broadis and Margaret Williams.
She was a Creek Fork High School graduate. In 1955 she moved to Warren. On December 14, 1957 she married the love of her life, George Hardin and began their family together. She and George lived in Southington for 60 years, where she loved her home and neighborhood.
She was a member of the Tod Ave. United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and Beauceant. She loved being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Eileen will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Mary Kathryn Hardin and Lisa (Jeff) Hardin Bennett; grandchildren, Shirley Baker, Katie Phillips, Jennifer Schofer, Mary Bird, and Mackenzie Bennett; eight grandchildren; brother, Alton Williams; and sister Jeannetta Williams.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband George; sister, Jacqueleen Bacon; and brother Rayburn Williams.
Family and friends may visit from 11-12PM on Saturday August 3, 2024 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. Funeral services will follow at 12:00PM
Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
A private lunch will be held following the burial.
