Eleanor V Lesko

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Church for Eleanor V. Lesko, age 77 of Whitney Ave., Youngstown who died Tuesday at her home. Eleanor was born August 31, 1924 in Youngstown and was a daughter of Jared and Florence (Yeager) Gruver. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Holy Name Rosary Society and presiding Judge for 4th Ward Democratic Party for 37 years. She is survived by her husband Stephen T. Lesko Sr. whom she married May 15, 1942, six daughters, Joyce (John) Lakovich Sr. of Canfield, Geraldine Morar of Austintown, Beverly Lewis of Youngstown, Phyllis (Joseph) Werner of Poland, Karen Lesko, Kathleen Ragan Lesko, both of Youngstown, four sons, Raymond (Sandra) Lesko of Syracuse, NY, Donald (Yvonne) Lesko of Carpentersville, IL., Stephen Lesko Jr. and James (Jeraldine) Lesko both of Youngstown, two sisters, Betty Walters of Phoenix, AZ., Donna Jean Gruver of Mineral Ridge, two brothers, William Gruver of Youngstown and Lloyd Gruver of Canfield, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Gruver, Florence Hamilton and a brother James Gruver. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral HomeAustintown Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
