Eleanore L. Lough

July 5, 1928 — October 22, 2019

Eleanore L. Lough, 91 of Howland, also known affectionately as "Norny", passed away peacefully of natural causes at home surrounded by her family Tuesday, October 22, 2019. She was born July 5, 1928, in Warren Ohio, the daughter of Banks and Hazel (Coffman) Hunter and lived in the area her whole life.

Eleanore attended Champion Schools for eleven years and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School, then proceeded to work as Secretary for the Warren Board of Education at Garfield Elementary for 28 years. After raising her family, she continued working for Country Classics, the Mole Hole, and Lady Bugs Unlimited prior to returning to the Warren school system as Educational Aide for Garfield, Devon, and Lincoln Elementary.

Eleanore enjoyed cooking, baking, golfing, gardening, and loved to travel.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Alan K. Lough, her sister, Katherine (Betty) Collins, two brothers, Kenneth Hunter, and Richard Hunter. She was a beloved aunt to many.
Besides her parents, Eleanore was preceded in death by one sister, Corrine (Hunter) Kirk, and two brothers, Robert Hunter, and Milton Hunter.

The family would like to thank Ohio Living Home Care and Hospice for their help in the caring, comfort,
and support for Eleanore.
