Elizabeth A. Hanek

Cortland – Elizabeth A. Hanek, 72, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 12, 2025 at St. Joseph Medical Center. 

Elizabeth was born on November 3, 1952 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie (Hudson) Hanek Sr. 

She was employed at Fairhaven Industries in Champion. A special thank you goes to her coworkers at Fairhaven Industries and the care provided at Ieraci Homes. 

She is survived by her brother Frank W. Hanek Jr. 

Family and friends may visit from 10-11:00AM on Monday January 20, 2025 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer-Winans Chapel, located at 164 N. High St. in Cortland. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. 

The burial will take place at Champion Township Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your charity of choice in memory of Elizabeth.
