Elizabeth Kathryn Bulvony, 88 of Howland Township died Wednesday afternoon, January 31, 2018, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren. She was born June 14, 1929 in Warren, the daughter of the late Louis J. and Nora Eagan Ketter. She was a lifetime Trumbull County resident, living in Newton Falls and then Howland, with her husband Carl. Elizabeth was a 1949 graduate of Leavittsburg High School. Early on in her youth, she was one of the first female Warren Tribune carriers, delivering the newspaper in Leavittsburg. She worked for 28 years as an assembler at Packard Electric Corp., retiring in 1987. Elizabeth was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren. After retirement, she served as a volunteer for 22 years at Hillside Hospital in Howland. Elizabeth enjoyed bowling, fishing, sewing, reading and traveling and was very proud of her Irish heritage. Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Catherine A. (Brad) David of Cortland; one son, Steven Bulvony of Liberty Twp.; one grandson, Matthew J. Cross of Niles; one great granddaughter, Brianna Cross of Boardman and her brother-in-law, Hubert H. McKenney of Southington. Her husband of 40 years, Carl C. Bulvony, whom she married June 24, 1950 preceded her in death May 30, 1990. Three sons, Charles, Thomas and James Bulvony; two sisters, Rose Lawrence and Mary McKenney and three brothers, Charles and Louis Ketter and Paul "Bud" Ketterer also have all preceded her in death. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Warren, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the noon service at the church. An old fashioned Irish wake and Celebration of Elizabeths Life will follow the Mass. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
