Ella P. Parsons

Ella P. Parsons, age 94, of Austintown passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. Born March 12, 1924 in Maysel, West Virginia; she was the daughter of John and Ida (Bragg) Koch. Ella was a homemaker who loved to sew and work on crafts, she enjoyed her garden and working with porcelain; she was a member of the Canfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters: Gloria Martin, Charlotte Schaechtel, Linda Shields, and Phyllis Gearhart; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as brothers, Oscar and Austin Koch. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon who passed away in 1989, a son Roger Parsons, and a daughter Mary Kalvoda. Services will take place at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 3:00PM where friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
