. Elsie M. Durst, 100 Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, December 27th at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Elsie M. Durst, 100 of Austintown who died Saturday afternoon at her residence. Elsie was born April 23, 1918 in Longbottom, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Harriet (McDermot) Hannum and came to this area in 1939. Elsie was a member of Westview Church of Christ. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Elsie had been a member of the Meander Garden Club of Mineral Ridge. Elsies greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as family was everything to her. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, completing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She will be missed by her two daughters, Patsy Harlovic of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, Barbara Moransky of Austintown; two grandchildren, Ryan (Renee) Moransky, Marlo (Jamie) Miller and two great-grandchildren, Madelynn and Kate. Beside her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard W. Durst, whom she married June 12, 1937 and two brothers and three sisters and a son-in-law, Frank Harlovic. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
