North Jackson—Funeral services will be held 11 Am Tuesday in West Austintown United Methodist Church for Emma Clegg McDougal, age 86, of Silica Rd.,North Jackson who died Friday evening at her sons’s home in Newton Falls. Emma was born January 31, 1916 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Rachel Treharne Hayes and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker, a member of the West Austintown United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid of the Church, the Pythian Sisters and the Keenagers Club. Her first husband Wayne Clegg died in 1974, her second husband B.J. McDougal died in July of 2000. She is survived by 1 daughter, Susan (Brian) Hale of Boardman, , 5 sons, Robert (Claudia) and David (Cindy) Clegg of Newton Falls, Larry (Janice) and Donald (Julie) Clegg of North Jackson, Jack (Bonnie) Clegg of Lake Milton, a step daughter Suzanne McDougal of Rockville, MD, a step son Dale McDougal of N. Canton, OH. 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A sister Flora Mae Doerr and two brothers, Myron and Edward Hayes are deceased. Friends may call from 6-9 PM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
