WARREN- Erle R. Parker, age 63, passed away Friday evening, July 20, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Erle was born October 28, 1954 in Warren to the late Joseph and Charlene (Lawrence) Parker. He was a 1973 Graduate of Labrae High School. Erle worked for Gilmores where he was a landscape foreman for 16 years, and then he worked for WCI Steel for over 15 years as the Inspector on the #5 Pickler. Erle was a true outdoorsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time in the woods with his grandson Eli, and his friends Bobby Holt and Jimmy Drescher. Erle also enjoyed all kinds of yardwork, he along with his friend Phil Conyers, were the unofficial neighborhood groundskeepers. Most recently, Erle has enjoyed cooking and baking, especially Red Velvet Cupcakes. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Bradley, and brother-in-law Danny. Erle will be missed by his wife Punki Parker, who he married September 7, 1974; his daughters Rachel (Joseph) Leeworthy and Courtney (Kurt) Boggs; eight grandchildren, Eli Leeworthy, Ty Boggs, Camille Boggs, Izabella Leeworthy, Zane Boggs, Jett Boggs, Leo Boggs, and Lucille Leeworthy. Erle also leaves his sisters Linda Sue Hostetler, Donna Jo "Jojo" Parker, and Cathy Rich; and brother Wink Parker; sister-in-laws Cathy (Zane) Soffos and Diann Garner, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 3-4PM Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. A memorial service will begin at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Wildlife Fund, Ohio Division of Wildlife.
