Services will be held on Monday, February 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Ernest F. Snarey of 550 Ohio Ave. #104 McDonald, who passed away at Autumn Hills Nursing Home on Thursday. He was born August 29, 1916 in Washington County, PA., the son of John and Nellie Snarey. He was a Chipper at United Engineering in Youngstown for 20 years retiring in 1979 and was a member of the United Engineers Retirees Association. Ernest was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints of Ellsworth. He served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife Myrtle Snarey whom he married on August 22, 1942, son Dale Snarey of Girard, daughters Sarah Anderson of Berlin Center, Joyce Sarnicki of Copley, OH., sister Irene Taylor of Canonsburg, PA., brother Ed Snarey of Bridgeville PA. and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel and one hour prior to the service.
